Soul Performance (Back to Resources)I’ve learned over the past year that there is a process to Soul Performance. God has opened the doors to release His spirit, love, power, and blessings upon us. Before you can really understand the process of soul performance you must look at the parable in Matthew 25:14-30. Notice what takes place here in the scripture dealing with your talents. There were three servants; one received five talents, another two talents, and another, one. God gave each servant the opportunity to prosper according to who they would become. Therefore, we as children of God hold in our hearts the opportunity to prosper in Jesus Christ. This includes spiritual growth and advancement in the Kingdom of God. Interestingly, the one with five talents released what he had and gained another five talents. The one with two did the same –which means that they both seized their opportunity and realized their fullest potential, for opportunities of a lifetime must be seized in the lifetime of the opportunity. Moreover, they increased according to their own ability. This brings us to the servant with one talent. He buried it. I think this is where the church is today. We look at what we have through un-prospering souls and out lack of understanding causes us to cancel what God has given us. We are focused too much on doubt and fear to move forward in God’s plan for our lives. What has it profited the body of Christ to gain the whole world, such as getting people saved, but never accomplish what we are destined to do –build the Kingdom? Furthermore, building the Kingdom requires wisdom and power of God which comes through the Holy Spirit. I believe that many have buried the message of prosperity because we simply do not believe we can live in the supernatural things of God. We speak in tongues… Shout the pastor down with “Amens”… And enjoy a sermon or a song… Then we go home and do nothing. Most are content with being saved and ignore the mandate of God to take dominion in the earth. We have returned to a maintenance relationship with God when instead he was us to live, move, and have our being in Him. Salvation is more than a song, a shout, and a sermon. It is receiving the supernatural lifestyle and abilities through the image God prepared for us. Nevertheless, Salvation is using our God given talents to increase, multiply, and receive abundance in our lives. When we understand that Jesus came to help us maximize our fullest potential by reclaiming us back unto Him the church will do great exploits in the earth. Eagle Sanctuary will rise up and move forward in our vision to make a difference in our communities, state, and nation. Just as the servants who used their talents were told by the Master, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of the Lord” (Matt. 25:21) we too will also move into this place.
